The Healing Power of Photography

Research indicates that photography can serve as a powerful therapeutic tool, promoting emotional and psychological healing. Engaging with photography—whether through capturing images or viewing them—has been linked to various mental health benefits.

Art in Your Home and Workplace

Do you ever experience those overwhelming moments when you're short on time and desperately need to just breathe? I've discovered that for me, surrounding myself with large photographs creates the mental space I need. It's possible to find these "micro escapes," but you must intentionally design your living or workspace to provide them.

About

Hi, I'm Mindy.

I have been a professional photographer for the outdoor world, skiing, racing, ice skating, 125+ outdoor weddings and seniors. That all came to a halt in 2019 when a move to CA. A life long battle of “allergies” became something else. From 2019 to June 2024, being confined indoors and away from the outdoors, people the world I cherished took a toll on my mental well-being. To cope, I found solace in creating and surrounding myself with photographs that provided mental rest and inner peace.
